We are a grade 4 classroom in Vauxhall Elementary School which is part of the Horizon School Division. The majority of our day is spent in literacy and math instruction. We use the Daily Three structure in Language Learning so students are engaged in literacy throughout the day. We believe in hands-on learning where students can show their learning in multiple ways. Join us as we explore new learning adventures together!
Introduction
I have been teaching for 24 years! I began my teaching career in Enchant School; I have been at Vauxhall Elementary School since 1997. I have experience teaching students in grades 1-6, but grade 3 is my favourite grade to teach! I absolutely love learning, teaching, and helping my students grow!
Outside of school, I enjoy being outdoors! I have a black Labrador Retriever named Kate that keeps me busy going for walks and playing outside. I also enjoy riding my bike, reading and golfing!
